Let's face it - models and musicians go together like air and lungs.

They make up some of the coolest, most fashionable couples in the world – David Bowie and Iman, Mick Jagger and probably every model in the world, or John Legend and Chrissy Teigen - and they obviously look great together on camera. Some of the most iconic videos of all time have had models appear in them. Think 'Wicked Game' and many more.

Here's a list of our favourite videos starring some of our favourite models:

Cameron Avery- 'Dance With Me'

Finally Alexa Chung has stopped playing coy and put herself slap-bang in the middle of a music video. We knew it was in her.

Chris Isaak - 'Wicked Game'

Beach? Check? Semi-nude Helena Christensen? Check. We guess that makes a music video.

Miles Kane - 'Come Closer'

Our favourite Woolyback crooner, Miles Kane, got a pre-Strictly Daisy Lowe to shake her tassels for him in this rock hit from 2010.

The White Stripes - 'I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself'

This video doesn't need an introduction. Kate Moss and a pole, that's all.

JAY-Z - 'Change Clothes' ft. Pharrell

Starring Naomi, the go-to cool video girl, amongst others, this video is basically a Rocawear fashion show.

CHIC ft. Nile Rodgers - 'I'll Be There'

A video directed by Inez and Vinoodh and starring Karlie Kloss dancing to disco music in white socks? Count us in!

The Drums - 'There Is Nothing Left'

One of our September issue cover girls, Hari Nef, stars in this romance gone sour video, but not because of a break up….see for yourselves!

David Bowie - 'The Stars (Are Out Tonight)'

In this rather unsettling video, Andreja Pejic and Saskia De Brauw stalk Bowie and his wife, played by Tilda Swinton. Oh David, we miss you!

Iggy Pop - 'American Valhalla'

The ultimate it girl of the moment, Ruth Bell, stars in Iggy Pop's new video. Cool model, Iggy, a boxing match, and all in black-and-white, how can you go wrong.

Paul McCartney - 'Queenie Eye'

Paul McCartney worked his magic and managed to recruit an actual army of celebrities to appear in his video -hello Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep! The highlight, however, is Kate Moss dancing on top of his piano, of course.
