Yesterday, the athletic apparel company revealed on Instagram that Cara Delevingne has been recruited as a new brand ambassador for its new 'Do You' campaign, directed by none other than her real-life best friend and Puma creative director, Rihanna.

The campaign – which aims to inspire confidence in women around the world, urging them to remain true to themselves and celebrate their individuality – has been coordinated by Rihanna and shows the 24-year-old model in an array of athletic gear throught the streets of Los Angeles and acting playful in the studio.

This is the first time Rihanna has directed a campaign since signing a partnership with Puma in 2014 and launching her sold-out Fenty Puma by Rihanna line earlier this month – a collaboration that will see the star present the Spring 2017 Fenty x Puma collection next week during Paris Fashion Week.

With an aim to prioritise her acting career over modeling, Cara's departure from the screen is a rarity, reserved recently for the likes of  Chanel and Saint Laurent, and also seems her joining a bevvy of Puma-brand collaborators including Kylie Jenner, Meek Mill and Usain Bolt.

Talk about a perfect partnership.
