For those of us who carefully pack (and then re-pack) our suitcase before a vacay to make sure we're not making any tourist fashion faux pas, you might want to stop scrolling now as this news may be a shock to the system.
Dodgy tourist fashion is kind of 'in' as Men's Fashion Week (which is mostly unisex now, FYI) and Cruise 2018 shows have been filled with stereotypical holiday-maker mistakes.
We're talking bum bags, we're talking Hawaiian shirts (AKA the dad wardrobe staple), and we're talking bright white trainers.
Don't believe us? Check this out:
Bum bags, fanny packs, or whatever you like to call the hands-free option is about to become your new BFF.
You cannot escape them on the catwalks or on the streets right now. Even Miu Miu Cruise showcased a variety of girly designs that would be appropriate for everyday, not just for a festival.
The Over-The-Shoulder Tied Jumper
Often a look reserved for those plodding around tourist attractions (or the golf course) Bella Hadid is single-handedly trying to bring back the preppy look of having a jumper tied around your shoulders.
The model was seen out and about in Paris yesterday with her vintage jumper nonchalantly tied around her neck. She was obvs ahead of the trend, as the Miu Miu runway later displayed similar jumper-tying details (but mostly around the waist).
The Hawaiian Shirt
Gucci had so many clashing prints in their Cruise 2018 collection it made the humble Hawaiian shirt seem like a demure option.
Balenciaga and Stella McCartney also didn't shy away from bold blooms and tropical prints, giving us all the A-OK to hide/steal the Hawaiian shirt from our dads wardrobe and unleash our inner Harry Styles.
Bright White Trainers
Meanwhile, Y-3 had your trusty footwear sorted in the form of some rather bright and clunky white trainers. After all, we all know Stan Smiths look nice, but man do they give us blisters.
Enter a more sensible design, which they coupled with pulled up socks. What a look.
All The Accessories
Kenzo had all your touristy accessories sorted, from bucket hats to rain jackets and yet more pulled up socks.
Okay, okay we get the idea, it's time for us to embrace all the tourist gear.
