After creating one of our favourite collaborations of 2017, London Fashion Week favourite JW Anderson is teaming up with Uniqlo for a second time.

The collection, which clearly proved a financial success, was the perfect meeting point between the two brands and featured everything from statement plaid jackets to printed T-shirts and simple cashmere knits.

'The first Uniqlo and JW Anderson collaboration was super exciting for me and I am very happy with the results,' the designer said in a statement today. 'I am proud of it and I think the pieces are incredibly well made. The line was also a good bridge between the ideal of British classicism and my own brand.'

The second collection will, like the first, feature pieces for both men and women which you'll be able to shop both in store and online – and while we don't know quite what it will contain, we do know it will be all about 'mix and match'.

'The spring/summer 2018 collection is about items that interlink with each other,' Anderson added. 'It's about layering this time. The idea is to mix and match things together and I truly hope you will enjoy it.'

No word yet on the exact launch date of the new collection, but we can presumably expect it early next year.
