Resort 2013

It’s Fashion’s great In-Betweener, the season wedged betwixt Fall and Spring which has in recent years taken on a life force all of its own, to become the industry’s favourite collection.

Resort is ‘about solutions’ according to Alber Elbaz, the solutions being what to wear in that tricky period between October and February when all you can find in the shops is lashings of sparkle and festive frippery.

This season designers have got into Resort with gusto, offering the full gamut of outfit solutions from swimwear for those lucky to packing in the winter in favour of sunnier climes, to leathers and furs for those who are braving it at home. Lots of leather and smart tailoring, and lots of cool separates to take you from grey November to dressed-up December and all the way through to spring.
