Autumn is almost upon us, which means our attention is firmly focussed on our wardrobes, the new trends and how were going to wear them. But alongside our usual go-to stores and labels there are some new names, some re-vamped classics and some very exciting collaborations that have caught the ELLE teams eye. Heres our guide to the labels you should be looking out for in the weeks and months to come
MONKI
Selfridges is set to play host next month to the first UK unveiling of Scandinavian high street brand Monki. Striking the perfect balance between accessible prices and that special brand of Swedish cool that makes the likes of Acne and Cheap Monday so covetable, it’s sure to be a shopping staple before the season’s out.

Model slash jewellery designer Erin Wasson is currently the face of Zadig & Voltaire, and the brand loves her so much that they asked her to design some pieces for them too. The results channel her signature boho-mets-rock-chick style perfectly.

HUNKYDORY
Yet another cool label to reach our shores from Scandinavia (there must be something in the water over there), Hunkydory started life focussed on knitwear but has now branched out into everything your wardrobe could want, offering up classic pieces with a native vibe that make them perfect for the coming season.

R13
New York’s R13 is about to be your latest go-to for designer denim. Names after the original American flag that represented 13 colonies, it has handcrafted, vintage-inspired denim perfectly nailed.

OTSWALD HELGASON
It’s no secret that where Chloe Sevigny goes we’re usually inclined to follow, so our latest obsession is also hers: Otswald Helgason. The label is based in London but is the brainchild of a fashion-savvy duo who hail from Germany and Iceland, and between them they whip up perfectly wearable shapes teamed with brilliant prints that have caught the eye of those in the know.

LALA BERLIN
If bold prints are your bag then make sure LaLa Berlin is on your radar. This season’s creations are covered in bold, painterly digital designs that are sure to catch your eye – and they also do a great line in bold knits to pair them with.

HUNTER
Yes it’s Hunter, but not as you know it. The brand has enlisted Jonathan Kelsey help in designing a fashion-forward collection of knee boots and Chelsea boots that will see you stylishly through the winter months – and not a green wellie in sight.
Hunter 'Addison' boots, £175, at Hunter
LULU FROST
The latest uber-cool jewellery label to emerge from New York. Its designer, Lisa Salzer, kick-started her rise to fashion stardom with pieces made from the discarded door numbers from the Plaza Hotel. She’s currently a favourite with fashion insiders, and everybody else is fast catching on.
Lulu Frost teardrop necklace in lemon & snow, £225
LOEFFLER RANDALL
Loeffler Randall is positively huge stateside but we Brits seem to be taking our time to cotton on. But at long last this season sees its ultra-wearable shoes drop into a clutch of the capital’s department stores. About time too.
Loeffler Randall 'Deena' wedge peeptoes, £240
+J UNIQLO
Noteworthy because it’s the last collection that Jil Sander will be creating for the Japanese giant and, trust us, she’s going out on a high. The boiled wool jackets in navy, grey and bottle green are seriously rivalling our designer favourites for most-coveted autumn piece.

CLAUDIA SCHIFFER KNITWEAR
