The future's bright for spring/ summer 2010. Pixilated patterns and techno prints in multi colours popped from the catwalks in New York. At BCBG Max Azria flashes of neon and abstract paint strokes gave pretty chiffon dresses a modern edge, while at Rodarte, techno prints underlined the out-of this world, futuristic feel of the collection. At Proenza Schouler (one of our favourite shows of the week), designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez looked to skating and surfing to create fun, fresh go-faster prints with a techno vibe which they clashed in perfect-for-summer bright hot hues.
