Designer collaborations you'll want to get your hands on
We all love a good designer collaboration, especially when it means we can get our hands on a piece by one of our favourite designers at high-street prices. Here is our round-up of some of the ones we can’t wait to get our hands on…
Guess Original x A$AP Rocky
GUESS has launched it's new line Guess Originals in collaboration with fashion man of the moment A$AP Rocky. A collection of acid washes, 90s logo tees, bomber jackets and overalls the collection is a real 90s celebration. We can't wait to get our hands on the plethora of must-have striped tees.
In true superstar style the collaboration launched with an exclusive party at Selfridges last Friday.
The collection is available to by in Selfridges and online now.
Solange Azagury-Partridge / Amazon Fashion

Eudon Choi / Brora
Luxury knit label Brora, who has enlisted London designer Eudon Choi to create a 15-piece capsule collection that launches this month. Taking 1970s après-ski as his starting point – exactly what we like to channel in the winter months – he’s conjured a modern take on alpine dressing; jumpers emblazoned with ski goggles and skis, boldly patterned sweaters, block coloured capes and matching accessories. There’s even a hot water bottle cover to ensure you’re as cosy as possible. Roll on winter.

Shopbop / The Principle Collection
Online retailer Shopbop have launched The Principle Collection, in collaboration with some of our favourite denim brands, including MiH, AG, Mother, Frame and J Brand. Our favourites are these 3x1 cropped flares (perfect with that new tucked-in-poloneck-and-boot-combo we're championing for autumn) but you can shop all your favourites here.
OTHER / Finery
Online womenswear brand Finery create sophisticated clothing at an accessible price-point, without compromising on quality! As of August 17th, the London-based brand have collaborated with OTHER/shop near London’s Carnaby Street to bring us a carefully selected edit of their AW15 collection, complimenting both OTHER’s own line and the lines of additional contemporary designers that they already stock in store. OTHER/shop aims to promote independence and emerging talent – as for Finery, it’s easy to forget that the brand actually only launched in February this year.
The collection includes clothing, shoes and accessories as chosen by OTHER/shop co-founder Matthew Murphy - we can’t wait to have them in our wardrobes!
The collection is available now from OTHER/shop 21 Kingly Street, W1B 5QU
Giles / EDITION - Designers at Debenhams
Giles Deacon launched his debut collection for Debenhams last week as part of the Debenhams EDITION concept, that focuses on contemporary designers. Despite a number of collaborations already under his belt, this one is particularly poignant for Giles who actually worked at Debenhams as a menswear designer before launching his own collection in 2004.
The collection takes strong influence from the 70s; these pieces are perfectly on trend for AW15. A combination of feminine tailoring and romantic prints modelled by Daisy Lowe, this is a collection that is accessible but maintains a sense of luxury.
Petit Bateau x Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has partnered up with Petit Bateau to create a bold, primary coloured mini-collection soon to be released. Expect to find iconic Petit Bateau nautical pieces reinvented, as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac injects his own dose of fun. The collection is available for both adults and children, and is super-cute in all sizes!
Available from 19th October at www.petit-bateau.co.uk
Bruce by Bruce Oldfield
Bruce by Bruce Oldfield is the new ready-to-wear collection designed exclusively for John Lewis; the designer’s debut high-street collection launched in stores and online late last week. Despite it’s accessible price point, the collection is still clearly inspired by Oldfield's couture background with a sophisticated monochrome colour-scheme and elongated silhouettes. The collection also includes the “Little Bruce Dress”, a black, silk paneled dress which donates £20 to Barnado’s for each one sold; a charity of which Oldfield is Vice President.
UNIQLO x Ines De La Fressange
After last years success, Uniqlo have once again teamed up with French model and designer Ines de la Fressange to create a capsule collection for AW15. These Winter essentials are wearable and timeless, with a touch of Parisian romantic charm. This limited edition collection was launched earlier this week and is sure to sell-out quick; exclusively stocked online and in London’s 170 Oxford Street, Regent Street and High Street Kensington store – grab yourself some great wardrobe staples whilst you can!
