MSGM's AW16 collection presented not one version of the Autumn/Winter woman but five.
There was no key player in the collection: the padded jacket, the camel coat, the teddy and the bomber all offered independent interpretations of how we should be tackling the cold, while a reimagined take on the tried-and-tested roll neck provided yet another solution to our Winter woes.
One of the many beauties of MSGM's diverse vision for AW16 is the ease with which your outerwear will be on trend. Almost every winter wardrobe can be touted as a nod to the collection, making dark and frosty mornings just that little bit easier.

The padded jacket purist.
You know dressing for the cold is no laughing matter, and are willing to risk duvet syndrome in order to beat the chill. It takes a blizzard to keep you from your day and you keep an emergency pair of gloves in your bag from September to March.
The (faux) fur enthusiast.
Your winter look differs little from your summer look, the presence of tights, gloves and scarves being the only indicator of the season. A hot beverage on the go at all times does the heavy lifting in the coldest months, while an aversion to public transport minimises real time spent outdoors.
The turtleneck devotee.
You believe there is little that tactical layering cannot protect you from, avoiding all geniune pieces of outerwear at all costs. Your collection is vast yet you'll never stop wearing the ones you've worn holes in. Advocate of thermal underwear and hardened to the scratch of lambswool.
The camel coat connoisseur.
People describe your style as "classic" and "chic" and you're reluctant to experiment in your sartorial habits. You consider clothes investments and have everything kept for your grandchildren to inherit.
The bomber jacket collector.
You've been wearing bomber jackets since before they were cool, and have taken their rise in popularity as a chance to experiment with variations. You have a style for every occasion and would rather soak than don an anorak.
