The spring/summer 2014 show season was all about the 'catwalk comeback' - the surprise appearance of a model that you wouldn't expect or hasn't been seen on the runway in a while. Think Karen Elson, Elise Crombez, Miranda Kerr, Hilary Rhoda, Jodie Kidd, Erin O'Connor, Jacquetta Wheeler, Karolina Kurkova, Lily Donaldson The list goes on! One of ELLE's personal favourites was the return of Daria who closd the Balenciaga show. Welcome back! We missed you.It was also a season of diversity in the casting. Whereas last season was all about the same 15 girls doing every show, this time there were loads of new faces and a cast that changed from show to show. It was encouraging to see the casting directors using different girls this time round; different races, looks and types.
