New York Fashion Week was an interesting one. At the first Fashion Week of the new season, we got a peak at amazing new collections and unforgettable street style. We got to see some fresh new faces but also catwalk veterans, and there was a little controversy too. As per usual, NYFW didn't disappoint.

The second most exciting thing after the clothes are, of course, the models. There were many great ones rocking the catwalks, but there were only a few who made it into our hearts.

Here are 5 ELLE favourites that are set to make it big.

Bella Hadid

Our July cover girl, Bella, has had a great year on and off the runway, and this fashion week she proved she's a runway force to be reckoned with. She already has her first catwalk fall behind her while opening DKNY as well. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, or in her case -a break-dancer.

Grace Hartzel

The YSL muse walked an impressive 14 shows during NYFW, opening Tom Ford and closing Lacoste. Not only a model, but a musician and all-round cool girl, there are big things written in the stars for her!

Alice Metza

Alice, of American, German, Belizean, Cherokee and Mayan origin (?!) walked all the major shows during this fashion week and opened Coach. What more can you ask for?

Veronika Vilim

Another YSL girl taking the fashion world by storm. Manhattan born and raised Veronica, is a street-style photographers' favourite and has a no-fuss attitude. We love her platinum mane!

Karly Loyce

Karly graces every catwalk she stand on and it was no different during NYFW. She keeps rocking the fashion world with her beautiful natural hair, to-die-for bone structure and an unforgettable runway presence.
