Milan Fashion Week was a memorable one. If not for the collections - another  Gucci extravaganza by Alessandro Michele, Versace's take on sportswear or Marni with its beautiful prints - then at least in that it was filled with supermodels.

Italians are known for great casting and it was no different this year. With shows like Versace's - full of catwalk majors like Adriana Lima, Carmen Kass, Doutzen Kroes and  Naomi Campbell, or Bottega Veneta's 50th anniversary show with appearances by Karen Elsson, Eva Herzigova and Lauren Hutton.

However, the fresh faces didn't lag behind, so here are 5 models who we loved watching during MFW.

Vittoria Ceretti

There was no doubt the stunning Italian was going to rule the catwalks in her home country. She opened the Bottega Veneta show, closed Fendi and also walked Versace, D&G, Prada or Alberta Ferretti.

Mica Arganaraz

Our favourite curly-haired Brazilian showed off her chick strut opening Diesel and walking for Prada, Fendi or Max Mara.

Stella Lucia

The broody browed Lucia is quirky and refreshing. We loved seeing her walking for DSquared2, Fendi or Alberta Feretti, and can't wait to see what Paris has in store for her.

Selena Forrest

One of the models who has had a consistently strong Fashion Month. In Milan, Selena walked for Roberto Cavalli, Moschino or Marni and had the honour of closing Emilio Pucci.

Lineisy Montero

The unstoppable Dominican model graced the runways for the likes of Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli or Marni.

Honorable Mention - Naomi Campbell

The Queen of the Catwalk possesses of the most iconic walks in the history of modelling.
