Victoria Beckham has revealed that her upcoming high-street collection will reflect her "very honest" relationship with daughter Harper.

The 42-year-old fashion designer has teamed up with Target for her limited-edition line, and told InStyle magazine: "You really get a sense of the relationship between Harper and me. This is fun, easy, cute, all of those things. Very honest. Very me."

The former Spice Girl shared a sneaky peek at the new line on Instagram, which sees the star posing with a Harper lookalike modeling her Spring/Summer designs.

She added the caption: "The most fun you can have on set, so cute! The kids all wearing my #VBxTarget collection x VB"

Victoria also spoke about being finally accepted as a "credible" fashion designer, which she says equals her Spice Girl achievements.

"I'm really proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls, but I'm also proud of everything I have done with my brand," she continued to the publication. "So that meant a lot to me, you know? That's Tom Ford saying, 'We look at you as a credible designer,' which was very cool."

She added that despite being papped constantly, she and husband David Beckham often try to escape media attention.

"I think people would really be surprised at how we try to avoid too much attention," Victoria disclosed.

"But there are certain places where you cannot avoid being photographed. It is what it is. I've had this since I was 18 years old."

The Target collection will be available from April 9.
