Since first gaining our attention after winning Project Runway 10 years ago, Christian Siriano has gone on to become a plus-size and diversity advocate and red carpet celebrity designer, regularly dressing the likes of Rihanna, Kate Hudson and former first lady, Michelle Obama.
When other fashion houses have momentarily championed diversity - be it through the casting of a woman of colour or retired supermodel - for a season, Siriano has celebrated the beauty of non-conformity time and time again.
So, what better way to celebrate his stellar career to date and continue to lead the inclusivity charge than with a 10 year anniversary party for his Fall 2018 presentation, with a stunning array of diverse celebrity models, of all shapes, ages, genders and ethnicities.
Beautiful bodacious babe and former ELLE cover star Ashley Graham opened the show wearing a bold, red fur coat, before the likes of Orange Is The New Black's Danielle Brooks, trans model Evie Acosta, and Selma Blair took to the runway to cheers and applause from the audience.
Under a theme of the 'ultimate royal dinner party', men, women and trans models took to the catwalk to show off the designer's 18th century British art-inspired collection.
Celebrities sitting to watch the enthralling show included Whoopi Goldberg, Meg Ryan, Cardi B and Laverne Cox, who posed for the cameras gladly.
Speaking of Siriano's desire to push the envelope when it comes to inclusivity, model Coca Rocha told Glamour: 'In an industry often too narrow-minded and resistant to change, he's shown himself not only open to change, but that he, himself, is the change—and a change we need.
'His love and celebration of women, all women, regardless of skin colour or size is evident in his castings of runway shows, and the women he surrounds himself with.'
Following on from his SS18 show last September, which saw FROW favourites Leslie Jones, Vanessa Williams, Patricia Clarkson enjoy a downright party, Siriano has continued to make a name for himself as an artist for a diverse array of looks and body types this year.
Explaining his love of diversity, Siriano recently told Teen Vogue: 'All people are beautiful. There is no correct size, shape, colour, or age. As a creator of fashion, I celebrate the body that wears my work. What an honour to be chosen, to be appreciated, and to be seen. That honour extends in both directions.;
I think it's safe to say we need more Sirianos in the world of fashion.
