Overview: 'One of her best yet, the croc loafers were gorgeous' - Phoebe Arnold, ELLE Fashion Director

1) An important milestone has been reached

Despite being an intentionally intimate celebration, Sunday's show marked the beginning of the brand's tenth anniversary. With a much smaller venue than usual, the garments could be seen closer than ever before. Maybe London's SS19 show will be a grander affair, but for now we're happy with this new perspective.

2) Things are getting serious

Aside from the occasional dash of leopard print, this collection felt more serious than any of its predecessors (even the hoody was more resolute than relaxed). Combine this with an army green palette and it's seriousness with a mission - women still have a lot to be fighting for, after all.

3) The bags are bigger than ever

We never considered ourselves size queens until this very moment - you could probably fit a whole person into one of these.

4) Outerwear season is coming

It's abnormal for any AW collection to not include outerwear, but there was something about its sheer diversity here that stood out: parkas, trench coats, double-layered trench coats, wool trench coats, a patent-coated trench coat, utility jackets - what more do you want?

5) The Beckham family are still mesmerising

Even without every member present (Brooklyn is in California celebrating the birthday of his girlfriend Chloë Grace Moretz), the Beckham family are generally one of the biggest visual pulls - after the clothes - at any Victoria Beckham show and Harper is TOTALLY here for it.
