The safari trend returned to the catwalks this season with sleeveless belted jackets, military details, khaki tailoring and more sophisticated utility looks all signalling a new take on this classic trend. The message from all catwalks was clear, ditch the intrepid explorer look, the new safari is relaxed, sexy and seriously chic. Khaki shorts, button up skirts and sporty all-in-ones can be dressed up or down, reflecting fashion's uncomplicated mood, while sexy animal prints, raffia accessories and stacks of ethnic bangles conjure up the spirit of exotic holidays and far away places.
