Cool summer vibes now last all year long, thanks to the city girl-approved beachwear brand, founded by Israeli actress-turned-designer Dorit Bar Or.
Launching her brand Dodo (Dodo is her nickname) in Tel Aviv's trendy Neve Tzedek neighbourhood in 2009, she's known for creating modern interpretations of her sartorial roots.
'My clothes are ultimately for the woman who likes to expose herself to different cultures and is not submissive to trends.'
That means traditional keffiyeh-print kaftans and maxi dresses, which Or recommends toughening up with leather bombers and trousers.
And while the Middle East is the most obvious source of inspiration for her, she says she also takes cues from styling ideas she observes on the street.
'It's all about the right combinations,' explains the designer, 41. '[I noticed] women in London and Milan were wearing kaftans with a jacket draped across their shoulders.'
In the same spirit, she says her summery dresses work for 'any season or life event. It's just about which pieces you choose to wear with them. '
We'll be styling up her dresses for work with a raw-edged denim jacket and Céline utilitarian ankle boots.
