Spring/summer 2017 in New York is looking an awful lot like a tango night. I'm  only five days into the  month of shows  and I've already seen too many cascading ruffles to count. Frills have been going strong as a trend for a solid two or three seasons. But here in New York, it seems to have reached a tipping point, with designers preferring a very specific kind of look — the flamenco lady emoji to be exact.
