Eat now: Barbarella’s
From Bowie at the V&A to power-suited Glamazons stomping down the catwalk, the 80s are back. And Barbarella’s - the Fulham Road institution where celebrities dined and hobnobbed till dusk - is celebrating the big, bad decade by taking a DeLorean back in time and serving an original 80s menu at the original 80s prices.
New head chef Laura Clement Delbos has devised a Mediterranean menu true to the restaurant’s dining heyday - you can pick up starters for as little as a pound and mains for between £2 and £3.
Unfortunately, drinks are offered at today’s prices. There are some things a DeLorean just can’t do.
The offer starts 25 April and runs for four weeks. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the first 50 covers
Barbarella’s, Fulham Road, London

Follow team ELLE’s progress at @ELLEukrunning.
Sail now: The Vestal Voyages
This spring, cult alcohol brand Vestal Vodka is offering you a booze cruise with a classier twist: namely a floating pop-up bar on a 50 ft canal boat sailing from a secret location near Kings Cross along Regents canal, ending up in Islington 90 minutes later.
A £25 ticket entitles you to two cocktails of your choice on the high(ish) seas ; and you can take nine crew members with you, so it’s a brilliant alternative to birthday parties spent in dark cocktail dens where you have to scream at your friend before they notice you’ve arrived.
Maiden voyage is 24 April, two voyages a day after that, four at weekends
£25 (maximum party size is 10)
