The trio – comprising Alexandra Buggs, Karis Andersons and Courtney Rumbold – have already had two top 5 singles so expect to see lots more of their blinging, pop-kitten style.

GrimesCanadian singer Claire Boucher wrote her latest album while she was fasting, and the weird, flighty, hallucinogenic feel of many of the songs might make you feel like you’re on a trip too. Charlie XCXThis East London rave kid started out with an X rated name but tailored it for the sensibilities of her ever increasing audience. Compared to Marina and the Diamonds, her music is darker, loaded with synth and has led her to support Coldplay and Santigold on tour this summer. Big hair, edgy London designers and a punky edge.
