Off the catwalks at Paris Fashion Week the look is chic and sophisticated: this is the week when the fashion pack let its style credentials really shine. Emulate the look with Malene Birger’s monochrome silk dress topped with a coat from classic French designer Sonia Rykiel. Polka dot tights and a Maison Michel headband (the line is designed by Chanel’s accessories and jewellery designer Laetitia Crahey) will give a simple polished look edge – as will towering statement shoes - in Paris, it’s all about striking a balance between elegant and cool. Finally a satchel from APC is a less obvious choice than any ‘It’ bag and, you can rest safe in the knowledge that front row regulars Clemence Poesy and Lou Doillon are also big fans of this brand.
