EXCLUSIVE: Gucci's Garden Collection Is All We Want To Wear This Summer
*Adds everything to basket*
Behold the Gucci Garden Collection, the Italian fashion house's latest lust-worthy colourful offering.
Launching on July 5th and exclusively available at Gucci.com, the 20-piece range showcases a new print created by Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele, which showcases flora and fauna symbols that are part of the brand's new design lexicon.
Michele has featured animal and flower motifs ever since he took the helm at Gucci in 2015, with particular focus on the bee, a symbol used for centuries by European aristocracy and is an animal key to nature's life cycle, and the snake, which represents wisdom and power.
Here they are accompanied by four different types of butterflies, ladybirds, little red and blue birds, and coloured beetles, as well as a diverse varieties of blooms, including carnations and roses all, all reimagined as an antique oil painting.
