The weather forecast predicts temperatures are set to sore this afternoon with the sunny weather lasting for the rest of the week! Which means you can finally get in to the stride of summer dressing - unless, like us you just don't know where to start because you've had your waterproofs on for so long now.
Luckily the A-list are providing a master class in how to get dressed for summer this week. From Rachel Bilson and Nicky Hilton who have their effortlessly cool L.A. look nailed, to Diane Kruger spotted in Paris yesterday soaking up the European sun in the season's ubiquitous gladiator flats and a simple t-shirt dress.

Maggie Gyllenhaal may be playing Bruce Wayne's love interest in the new Batman film, but last night she was channelling one of Batman's enemies - Catwoman - in a show stopping backless jumpsuit by Stella McCartney. (Click here now to see it full length)
The star chose the all-in-one from Stella's upcoming spring/summer 2009 collection to tread the red carpet for the film's London premiere. It's a piece that won't even head down the catwalk in Paris until October. So is this a heads up that the jumpsuit is here to stay? A key piece for this season, it looks like, if Stella and her band of A-list fans have anything to do with it - that the all-in-one could be sticking around for next summer too.
And we think now is the perfect time to invest in the trend - either with a bargain from the summer sales or one of the new all in one's hitting stores now.

Sad news reaches us today - one of our favorite fashion meets Hollywood couples have split.
Salma Hayek has called off her engagement to CEO of PPR François-Henri Pinault. He's the boss of labels such as Chloe, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent, which are all owned by his family business PPR.
The two have a daughter together, Valentina Paloma Pinault who will be one in September, and were planning to marry this year after getting engaged in March 2007. A rep for Salma confirmed last night, 'We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault has been cancelled.'
The two had been commuting between Francois' Paris base and L.A - where Salma lives with their daughter. However, no reason has been given for the split yet. 'there will be no further comment' is all Salma's camp are saying right now.

Diane Kruger was our favourite fashion plate this week managing to pull off a crop-top beautifully with a high-waist trouser and boater, while Pixie Geldof kept the 1980s references alive in summery pale denim and very-this-week ankle socks. Meanwhile in the US, stars such as Jessica Biel are already showcasing the new autumn trends. Embrace fashion’s schizophrenia while you can!

Move over Alice Dellal, you’re already yesterday’s news. This week our new fashion crush is Coco Sumner. In case you didn't know already, she's the daughter of Sting and Trudie Styler, and at only 17, she’s already modelled for Burberry, had a role in Stardust alongside Sienna Miller and Claire Danes and has just signed to Island Records to record a reggae album in Jamaica, no less. She's already showing more talent than most of her London peers and with great style too – partially shaved hair, tartan scarf, Breton shirt, denim shorts and ankle socks. We also hear she’s no fan of fellow 17-year-old Pixie Geldof. Could this Coco mademoiselle already be causing ripples in the hippest new London celeb set? We’ll keep you posted.
