After being inspired by a university talk from Elle features director (and my dream job holder) Alice Wignall, I want to examine how many women actually ever achieve their dream job and how many of us just settle for less. My article entitled 'Living the dream?' will look at how many women really are reaching for the stars when it comes to their careers or if we’re mainly victims of our own low self-esteem. Accompanied by the cover line ‘Why we’re reaching for the stars, but only touching the moon’, and featuring interviews and surveys from business women and some not-so-happy workers, this feature will examine what it really is that is holding women back.
