Having steered myself through my early teens to begin a career in Law (yawn!) I thought my career path was set, but just before my 18th Birthday I had a sudden change of heart and I dropped my University offers, landed myself a job at Burberry to have some thinking time. This is where my eyes were suddenly opened very wide to a world I never really thought existed, seasonal trends, styling and best of all, sample sales! From then on I really knew this was for me, I wanted nothing else from life but to be surrounded by wonderful clothing, but I knew it wouldn’t be easy. After the almost impossible task of convincing my parents this was an industry that I wouldn’t let crush me, that this was something I really wanted more than anything before (even more than the high heel jelly sandals I dreamt about for an entire summer when I was 10) I enrolled on my fashion degree course. So, this is why I think I should be picked for this job, because I made a promise to my parents and I will honestly do absolutely anything and everything to make sure I fulfil that.
