Gigi Hadid Is Still Very Much Together With Zayn, Thank You

You'd never know breakup rumors were swirling around Gigi Hadid to look at her. The model was all smiles as she hosted Maybelline New York's Beauty Bash at L.A.'s Line Hotel this weekend.

Perhaps that's because there is no breakup. Before entering the party, which celebrated Maybelline's new summer collection, Hadid indulged ELLE.com in a rapid fire round of questions, during which she made a concerted effort to mention her boyfriend. So, it seems that the couple hasn't actually called it quits (and that Hadid is a very savvy interviewee).

What is your idea of happiness?

Effortless happiness. The things that ground you. For me it's art and cooking, for example, and when I can be with my friends and the people I love and do simple things. That's when I'm the happiest.

What's the best thing you cook?

I make this really good tomato soup from scratch and I do it with grilled cheese sandwich dippers on the side. That's really, really, really good. And my grandma loves that. My grandma is the best cook ever so for her to love that makes me think it's probably the best thing I make.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest is the people I love not knowing how much I love them. I just want to remind people all the time.

So not spiders?

No, not spiders. I'm not scared of spiders at all. I'm the spider killer in the house.

What's the last thing you Googled?

There's this John Mayer song "Free Falling" where there's a remix called the "Mojito Remix." I can't get it on Pandora or iTunes or anything so I have to Google it every time I listen to it. I just listened to it upstairs so that was the last thing I Googled. I listen to John Mayer when I get ready. He's my calmer.

What's the last lie you told?

I tried to tell everyone earlier that I wasn't cold. But I was so cold.

What's your party trick?

I am double jointed in my elbow. So I can turn it all the way around and then bend it so it looks like it's broken.

What's your best beauty tip?

Less is more.

How did you come to that realization?

I grew up riding horses and on the beach and I never really wore makeup and my mom showed that as an example. She wore makeup, just in a beautiful, effortless way. She was my beauty icon my whole life.

Night out or night in?

Night in. Cook. Paint. Play with my dog. Hang out with my boyfriend. Watch movies. Just chill.
