Chrissy Teigen's online presence is a bit of all right in our eyes.

Most recently, the supermodel-chef-mum tweeted this hilarious comment about the lack of diversity at the Miss Teen USA pageant this year.

The tweet has been shared 100,562 and liked 170,22 times.

Using her classic laid-back humour, Chrissy once again proved celebrities can be political without being annoying about it.

Many people responded in jest to show support for the tweet.

After a few news outlets apparently claimed she was 'outraged' by the choice of finalists Teigen clarified she harboured no ill will to the contestants and simply wanted a laugh.

Turns out, the girl who ended up being crowned has written some pretty racially insensitive tweets a few years ago.

Karlie Hay, who is 18-years-old and from Texas, has since apologised via her Instagram page for her use of racial slurs when she was younger.

Hopefully these unfortunate events will encourage the Miss Universe franchise to look more critically at their pageants and make an effort to be more inclusive in the search for their competitors.

Meanwhile Teigen is still claiming to be playing Joker, but she seems to be right on the political money, proving, once again, she can match her beauty, tenfold, with her brains and downright goofiness.
