Leslie Jones and Matthew McConaughey are the Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte of Olympic watching. Both noteworthy watchers contribute greatly to our Olympic enjoyment, provide us with hours of internet content, and are certainly America's two greatest living fans. But, theirs in an uneven rivalry.

Jones capable of a marathon on Twitter. Her constant release of enthusiastic tweets taught everybody the true meaning of patriotism and handedly earned her an invitation from NBC to attend the games. We'd give her a gold medal every damn day.

McConaughey's fandom, however, should not be ignored. He loves the events so much he sits in the Rio stands without a single person beside him, because who need to share this occasion with a friend or loved one when time is a flat circle, man?

Still, like Phelps and Lochte, Jones and McConaughey, can put their rivalry aside and embrace their shared love of the sport. Thus a friendship is born. After all, as Jones so perfectly says in her Twitter post, "Team U.S.A.! We slay all day!"
