When Kim Kardashian posted those Snapchats of Taylor Swift's recorded phone call with Kanye West approving the infamous "Famous" lyrics about her, the internet called it a takedown: the greatest, viral proof that Kardashian does not like Swift.

This isn't quite true, Kardashian tells Wonderland in its latest issue (via E! Online). 'I never publicly talk bad about people. I still don't feel like I have. I'm being honest. I'm a fan. I like her music. There was no shade,' she said.

Most people didn't see it that way, including—no surprise—Swift's friend group. After the Snapchat drop, 'girls in her squad hit me up on text,' Kardashian admitted, though she wouldn't say who. 'I'm not petty.'

Kardashian's tone—one that seems to tease peace is on the horizon—echoes West's. Earlier this month, the rapper tweeted his own (maybe) olive branch: a shirt featuring Swift and his album merged together, with "unity love" as the caption.

Maybe there'll be another magic Grammys reconciliation after all...
