Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was recently going on a jog in Vancouver when he ran past a group of high schoolers taking prom pictures. The oblivious teens were too busy snapping away on the Seafront of Stanley Park, that they didn't even realize who was running past them. (How could you overlook Justin Trudeau when he's wearing those short shorts though?)

Trudeau's photographer explained that the photobombing stunt is actually something the Prime Minster does often. "This is part of a little side project to document the places we go and the runs we go on," he wrote on Instagram. "Sometimes it's just scenic shots, other times, it's running past an unsuspecting grad group—half clued in, others were more distracted by the ginger with the camera."

But Trudeau eventually did turn around and stop for a photo with the students.

"He kind of like saw us, looped around and was like, 'Who's the bride? Who's the bride?' He thought it was a wedding,' Sofia Kalil, who luckily made it in the photo with the Prime Minister, told CTV Vancouver.

Our prom photos definitely weren't this cool.
