Tonight, Selena Gomez is nominated for two VMAs—one for the best dance song category ("It Ain't Me" with Kygo) and one for best collaboration (for her and Charlie Puth's "We Don't Talk Anymore"). But Gomez won't be at the show in Los Angeles tonight—and hinted so much during a radio interview August 18th. "I don't know if I will [go to the VMAs]," Gomez said then. "I might be shooting but I cannot believe I got nominated, which is really cool, and I'm very upset that I won't be there."
Gomez is instead on the other side of the country, in New York City where she's filming her new Woody Allen film with Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name). She gave her two co-stars an Instagram shoutout yesterday:
