Reese Witherspoon has finally had her say on Donald Trump seemingly nicking her triumphant Legally Blonde speech.

Trump's speech writing team must have just binged on an Elle Woods marathon before preparing his address to Liberty University, because there were quite a few similarities.

Reese and fellow guests Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie were actually shown a mashup of the two speeches on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (September 29), and couldn't help but chuckle.

'It's true – he is better when he sticks to the script,' Harrison Ford snickered to the delight of Graham's studio audience.

Of course, Reese had a perfectly sassy explanation when Graham asked how it was even possible for Donald Trump to have ripped off Elle Woods.

'I'm sure he's just a big fan,' the actress deadpanned.

Hopefully, this strange connection between POTUS and Elle Woods will finally inspire Hollywood to bring back Legally Blonde for a sequel that fans, and Reese herself, have demanded for so long.

'A lot of people have asked me if we're going to make another Legally Blonde,' she recently told fans in a Facebook Live chat, adding: 'And we're thinking about it.'

We'll start practicing our bend and snap now…
