About a month ago, Selena Gomez shocked fans when she revealed that she'd undergone a kidney transplant earlier this year, as part of her ongoing treatment for the autoimmune disease lupus.
The singer received the transplant from her BFF, actress Francia Raísa. The procedure left Selena with a wicked scar, a photo of which she shared online:
Now Raísa, who's starred on the Secret Life of the American Teenager and the TV adaptation of Dear White People, hit the red carpet for People magazine's "Ones to Watch" event, wearing a snappy studded white suit with a sheer shirt:
