If you take a look at the maternity shoot photos posted to author Alexandra Elle's Twitter on Saturday, you'll think, 'Damn. These are gorgeous.' Once you realise who took the photos, though, you'll think, 'NO. WAY'... because they were shot by her 9-year-old daughter. 😱
The series features Elle, who lives outside of Washington D.C., on a bed wearing a figure-hugging white gown and a crown of faux monarch butterflies in her hair. Again, reminder — a 9-year-old took these pics!

The internet collectively melted when it got a hold of these pics, and especially the on-point compliment Alexandra's daughter gave her: 'She told me I look like a butterfly goddess.' Literally could not have said it better myself.
"She has seen the response [to the photos] and she smiled big when I showed her," Elle said, when asked about her daughter, Char. "She's very proud of her work!"
