Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were on a flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo on Tuesday, but it turned into a flight from Los Angeles to…Los Angeles. That's because their plane turned around four hours into the flight, when the crew discovered a passenger was on the wrong plane. The result ended up becoming a day-long ordeal, and naturally Chrissy live-tweeted the whole thing the entire time.

She started tweeting four hours into the flight, after the plane turned around because of an unauthorized passenger:

Though she said she didn't know any details, her fans figured out her flight path, and it looked insane.

Chrissy ended up spending around eight hours on her flight, only to end up exactly where she started. She mused about why everyone had to return to Los Angeles because of one passenger's error. But at least she got a good story out of it.

She and her fans posted lots of memes about the incident, as one does when there's nothing else to do.

But Chrissy and her fellow passengers were still on the plane, and she said police were interviewing people who were sitting near the unauthorized passengers. In the meantime, she hung out with John Legend and a lucky fan who was sitting in their section. He even started a Twitter account just to post the photo.

After a while, Chrissy was moved to a room that was airing The Real Housewives, so at least she got some entertainment on top of her real drama. Even Lisa Rinna checked in on her.

They were stuck in the lounge overnight, and got some ramen and some rest.

But eventually, they got booked onto another flight, which took off Wednesday morning.

ANA, which stands for All Nippon Airlines, issued a statement about the incident to KABC-TV.

"During the flight, the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot. As part of the airline's security procedure, the pilot in command decided to return to the originating airport, where the passenger was disembarked. ANA is researching the situation currently to determine how the passenger boarded the flight. ANA would like to express its apologies to the passengers for the inconvenience. We take great pride providing exemplary customer service, and on this flight we failed to do so."
