Justin Timberlake, one of the stars of Woody Allen's Wonder Wheel, posed a question on Twitter on Tuesday, asking for some clarification on the saying about wanting your cake and eating it too. Some 24 minutes later, Dylan Farrow responded to JT's question and in the process, pointed out the singer and actor's hypocrisy of wearing a #TimesUp pin at the Golden Globes after working with Allen, who's long been accused by Farrow of sexual abuse.

As Farrow writes, "The saying means, for example, you can't support #TIMESUP and praise sexual predators at the same time. You can't retain your creditbility as an activist (i.e. – retain the cake) and, at the same time, praise a sexual predator (i.e. – eating the cake)."

Allen denied the allegations in 2014 via an op-ed in The New York Times.

In wake of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, several actors and actresses who have worked with Allen have come forward to offer apologies, regrets, and pledges to never work with the director again.
