Khloé Kardashian, who's expecting her first child in about two months, shut down the idea that her pregnancy would lead to her and former stepdad Caitlyn Jenner to reconciling during an interview with Ross King on the UK's Lorraine program today.
When asked how having a child will affect things between her and Jenner, Kardashian initially asked incredulously, "In what way?"
"That it's a grandchild and that there could be a cementing again," Ross started to explain.
"No, I don't think that affects anything with Caitlyn. No, yeah, [things are] just as they are," Kardashian replied bluntly.
Last April, Jenner told Andy Cohen that she and Kardashian haven't spoken in two years. "She doesn't want to talk to me," Jenner said. "She hasn't talked to me in, like, two years."
In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that aired that same month, Kardashian met with Jenner and laid down why it was so hard for her to be close to the new Caitlyn Jenner. "For me, you're all I remember, Bruce was," she told Jenner. "So not having you in my life, it's a huge blow because I'm like, 'Okay, my second dad, this guy that I've grown up with, that raised me, was taken away from me,' but no one really let me have that [time to process it]."
Jenner would go on to publish a tell-all memoir in June that included some controversial claims about Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner. At that point, Khloé Kardashian's sister Kim Kardashian said on the family's show Keeping Up With the Kardashians that "I just have no respect for [Caitlyn] anymore. Someone that had this perspective, I wouldn't even want around."
