Dakota Johnson and her new-ish boyfriend Chris Martin went out to Ellen DeGeneres's 60th birthday party this Saturday (which, if you looked at Instagram on Sunday, know most A-list celebs attended). They arrived holding hands and ran into Drew Barrymore:
Among the other people at the party was Martin's ex, Jennifer Lawrence, who avoided running into the two when she arrived with Amy Schumer and her group.
Johnson and Martin's romance started in the fall. In November, she was photographed in Argentina for one of Coldplay's final tour concerts. In December, she and Martin were confirmed to be officially together by Us Weekly. "Dakota and Chris are definitely dating," a source told the outlet then. "They've gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It's more than just a fling." And last month, in mid-January, the two made headlines for the amount and variety of PDA they showed at the Stella McCartney fashion show.
Lawrence and Martin dated on and off in 2014 and 2015. Reports of them quietly being together broke in August; their first breakup—after nearly four months of dating—was reported two months later in October. J.Law and Martin would spark reconciliation rumors in May 2015 but ultimately split for good at the end of August 2015.
Lawrence went on to date director Darren Aronofsky for about a year before breaking up with him in October. She has not been publicly linked with anyone since.
