ASOS has made a big spelling error on their packaging, but managed to turn it around so spectacularly that I'm genuinely considering ordering just to see if I get one of their 'limited edition' parcels.

The online retailer tweeted to inform followers that they bodged up 17,000 bags, but will be sending them out regardless - and I can't help but admire them for their honesty.

In case you didn't notice, the word 'online' is spelt 'onilne'. Not a big deal (says the girl who deletes a tweet after she makes a grammatical error for all 742 followers to see), but we imagine most other companies in this situation would quickly get rid of the evidence (by recycling, we hope). ASOS, being the cool brand that they are, though, decided to hold their hands up to the mistake…and save on plastic in the process.

Who'd have thought we'd be getting a lesson in embracing your flaws from ASOS' twitter account?

The reaction to the ~limited edition~ bags was immediate, with followers suggesting they might even sell them on eBay (I mean, maybe a little OTT but whatevs).

ASOS also used this as an opportunity to clarify that their packaging is recyclable, which is just as well, since according to Allure their site is the most popular E-Commerce Fashion site...meaning many, many packages are sent all over the world.

This isn't the first time ASOS has recovered spectacularly from controversy. From poo emoji handbags to butt-crack jeans and half-eaten Polo mints, the brand is the queen of making a comeback.

Someone give their social media manager a raise.
