Stars: they’re just like you, you know. For them too, there’s only one thing to be done after a night of partying: make straight for a late-night eatery with your mates to sort out that case of the munchies. Of course, when you’re Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, the night of partying was spent at the celeb-packed DirecTV pre-Super Bowl bash, rather than your local Wetherspoons; your mates are John Legend and his model wife Chrissy Teigen; and the late-night snack venue of choice is US chain Waffle House (maybe they don’t have Chicken Cottage in Arizona).
Kim and Chrissy both took to social media to post pics of the double date, which show the couples sitting in adjacent booths, looking far more glamorously dressed than the usual fast-food crowd. Earlier in the night, Kanye had performed with Rihanna at the gala event in Glendale, held on the eve of the Super Bowl.
Now, there are a few questions that arise from the looking at these snaps. We’re wondering: 1. What did they order? We bet Kanye went straight for the Meat Lover’s Pork Chop Dinner, while Kim is more of a Grilled Biscuits and Gravy girl. 2. Did Chrissy's white dress emerge unspattered by ketchup? That’s an astronomical dry cleaning bill just waiting to happen. And finally, most pressingly of all: 3. Just WHAT is the matter with Kanye? That is not the face of a cheery man. Has someone just broken the news that Bird’s Eye Potato is not one of the varieties on the menu? Or has John just cracked a hilarious joke involving Kanye’s latest album and a load of waffle?
We can only speculate.
