Clever Cumberbatch played his own Imitation Game during a recent MTV interview - watch the clip below - when he was challenged to come up with as many celebrity impressions in 60 seconds as possible. He nailed 11, and the stars he chose to mimic were like a who’s who of film and entertainment. Our favourite? Taylor Swift, which sees the Sherlock star sing with a pretend microphone. Oh and Tom Hiddleston, Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson are also pretty special too...

Of course the news that Benedict Cumberbatch has been outed as a talented impressionist is no surprise to us. We’ve been privileged enough to spend a lot of quality time with the ELLE cover star over the years, most recently for our collector’s edition December issue. So we can vouch for the fact that along with being devilishly handsome and fiercely intelligent, he’s also very, very funny.
