And now she's thrown the ultimate birthday bash.
Over the weekend, the 'Losing You' singer celebrated turning the big 3-0, kicking off the festivities with a picture of herself along with an inspiring caption listing her major life accomplishments, from the birth of her son Daniel to purchasing her first house.
She also casually dropped in the fact she finished making her fourth album 72 hours before her birthday.
Solange then headed to a private villa in New Mexico, accompanied by her closest friends and family including older sister Beyonce and brother-in-law Jay Z, and posted a series of pictures on her Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
The group sat down to enjoy the sunshine with a healthy al fresco breakfast consisting of granola and bananas with a side of bacon and melon.
Before indulging on frozen treats that Solange pictured alongside the caption, 'I'm never coming home if you keep making honey peach and hibiscus lime popsicles.'
Cooling off in the sun with friends, the birthday girl sported a high-waisted black bikini as she took a dip in the pool.
Later that day, she took an outing with her friends wearing matching maroon and peach colored slip dresses.
