It's universally known that Gwen Stefani (she's 46, by the way) has insane abs - but she has a heart of gold as well.

At her concert in West Palm Beach on Wednesday night, Gwen saw a poster in the crowd from a mother saying that her son had been bullied "from first to fifth grade" but that the singer's music cheered him up.

"He would come home every day upset, but he'd go to his room, listen to your music, and smile," the sign continued.

Reading it aloud, Gwen said: "Get up here right now!"

The young boy hugged 'The Sweet Escape' singer Stefani, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

After the concert, Stefani took to Instagram to write: "About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world.

"Last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers #zerotoleranceforbullies #onelove #thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike."

Gwen Stefani recently rebounded from her bad break-up in the stylish music video for 'Misery'.
