Burning Man has been in full swing all week, drawing its annual crowd of extravagantly costumed guests to the pop-up metropolis of Black Rock City, Nevada. As usual, an adventurous set of celebrities and It girls flocked to the desert to soak up the semi-anonymity, experience the unique art and culture, and parade around the playa in their wildest, edgiest, most extravagant outfits.

This year saw some of the regular celeb attendees, along with a few Burning Man newbies. We had Paris Hilton, #PlayaVirgin, thoroughly enjoying her first burn as she rolled around in the sand and posed against the dusty horizon in her best technicolor fur.

Then there was Sports Illustrated model and Leonardo DiCaprio's latest love interest, Nina Agdal, who romped around the desert in combat boots and chainmail armor. (Where was Leo??)

Katy Perry fully embraced the neon vibes.

And braids were definitely the hairstyle of choice for stars braving the impromptu dust storms, gusty winds and scorching Nevada temps. Katy Perry wore hers with rainbow yarn woven throughout.

Paris Hilton sported a mix of French braids and several skinnier plaits, which hairstylist Chris Dylan embellished with rugged leather hair wraps and delicate metal rings.

The Delevingne sisters had their tresses decked out with brightly colored extensions, courtesy of boho hair guru Laura Polko.

Cara Delevingne's pink-and-blue braids can be seen in the slew of pics she took with all her famous friends. (Seriously though, how did she manage to find every other celebrity there?) There was the flashy kickoff group shot with her Burning Man #squad:

The late-night sibling selfie with Paris and Barron Hilton:

And the golf cart excursions with sister Poppy and friend Derek Blasberg:

She bumped into Scott Eastwood too, and snapped a quick selfie—heavy on the tongue.

Speaking of Scott Eastwood, the actor posted up at a kissing booth during his time at Black Rock City. He says he didn't get any takers (yeah right), which he jokingly attributed to being a little too dusty.

Seasoned burners Karlie Kloss and Derek Blasberg also returned to the playa this year—and brought their art installation A-game with them.

Just check out this giant vacuum they rode in on. Now if only it could actually suck up some of the dust…
