Update, 9/21: After causing a stir and raising suspicions of his return to Game of Thrones last month, Jason Momoa—who plays Daenerys' deceased husband, Dothraki chieftain Khal Drogo—just dropped another hint that he could appear in the series once again.

Last night, the actor posted a photo on Instagram of himself posing with fellow GoT star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow. Momoa wrote a message to him and the cast in the caption: "Congrats to my kit super proud of him and all the cast and crew congrats Game of thrones you are the best can't wait for the next season Aloha j. Back to work"

Does this mean he's back on set or just missing and his GoT pals? When he shared a photo of himself with the showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, he was located in Belfast, Ireland, where most of the show is filmed. So is he just paying a visit or stepping in front of the camera?

Original post, 8/26: Khal Drogo joins the ranks of the many fallen characters on Game of Thrones, but there's a chance that could change soon.

Jason Momoa, the GoT star who played the Dothraki chieftain and Daenerys Targaryen's husband, recently posted a photo on Instagram that got fans speculating his return for the show's seventh season. The picture shows the actor posing with GoT showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, at a bar in Belfast, Ireland, which is where a lot of the filming for the show takes place.

He included in the caption: "Drinking mothers milk With my brothers @captainriff dan and david. Love ya GOT greatest show on earth ALOHA DROGO"

But is a Drogo return possible? (Though on Game of Thrones, anything is possible—and that doesn't only refer to the casualties.) Jon Snow was brought back to life by Melisandre in the beginning of last season, and recurring character Beric Dondarrion has often been resurrected as well. Could Drogo get the same treatment by a priest of priestess of his own?

If, instead of an actual return, Drogo appears in a flashback or hallucination, this wouldn't be the first time. In season two, Daenerys sees him and their deceased son in a vision when she walks through the House of the Undying. Perhaps another virtual reunion is due.

Though his character was killed off six seasons ago, Momoa remains a faithful fan of the show, especially his on-screen wife, Emilia Clarke, as he often takes to Instagram to praise her killer scenes as Khaleesi. Who knows, she might need his help leading his army of Dothraki during her conquest of Westeros.
