The great flames of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris's summer breakup—the ones that brought Instagram purges, bitter Hiddleswift songs, and "This Is What You Came For"-inspired Twitter exposés of what it's really like to break up with Swift—have been extinguished, TMZ reports this morning. Swift and Harris are no longer enemies, but friends, sources close to the couple tell the outlet. They are the most "friend-zoned" friends.
This development happened shortly after Tom Hiddleston and Swift ended things in early September. Harris and Swift started texting (who texted who first is unknown), and are just texting. There have been no phone calls or visits yet.
Their conversation did, however, resolve their feud—and probably explains why Harris liked that "This Is What You Came For" video Swift posted from Gigi Hadid's fashion show two weeks ago.
We can only assume the text that inspired the reconciliation involved some sort of cat meme.
