Hidden Figures looks so good. We're going to see it one million times when it comes out in January. But until it lands, we'll just have to make do with the new trailer for the forthcoming film, which stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe as NASA mathematicians who helped launched astronaut John Glenn into space.

So many of the scenes look utterly iconic, from Monáe's Mary Jackson fixing her makeup while perched on the trunk of a car:

To Henson's Katherine Johnson telling John Glenn that she's the one responsible for calculating his launch and landing, nbd:

Don't worry—there's definitely a "math on the chalkboard" scene:

The film is based on Margot Lee Shetterly's book of the same name, about the real-life NASA mathematicians who were key to the United States' space-race achievements. It's bound to be a moving and inspiring account of these women's experiences in the face of institutional racism and sexism—and their success despite it all.

Hidden Figures is out on January 17, 2017.
