Blake Lively kicked off the new year with the help of her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars, proving just how long-lasting their real-life friendship is.

Yesterday, the actress posted a photo on Instagram from her low-key New Year's Eve activities—she FaceTimed with former costars Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera. (She and Tamblyn were actually snuggled up on the couch together with Ferrera on the other end of the call.) Alexis Bledel, however, was missing.

"This year has taught us a lot. But it's reminded us to practice something we've always known... 'Love your pals. Love yourself,'" Lively captioned the photo, quoting a memorable Traveling Pants mantra.

Her costars shared their own versions of the shot too. "FaceTiming with my sister's [sic] right after midnight is the best way to start off the year," Tamblyn said.

"Together for the new year come hell or highwater," Ferrera wrote. She even hashtagged "#missingAlexis."

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants premiered in 2005, and a sequel debuted in 2008. Over eight years later, Lively teased that there's a high possibility a third Sisterhood movie could be in the works. She said in a radio interview in July:

"There is a strong chance there might be a third. The four of us are still best friends and to be able to create something together again has always been a dream of ours; but it would have to be something that really made sense. If you wait this long to do a third movie, it needs to honor the story and the legacy."

And Tamblyn dropped a similar hint with E! News the month prior: "I can obviously tell you that something is definitely in the works."

Fingers crossed.
