What better way to celebrate 2017 than with a throwback to one of the biggest hits of 1997?!
During Victoria and David Beckham's New Year's Eve party in the Maldives on Saturday, the hostess and her former bandmate Melanie Chisholm — a.k.a., Mel C., a.k.a., Sporty Spice — took to the stage for the mini Spice Girls reunion of your dreams. Immediately launching into a duet of "2 Become 1," the two couldn't have been cuter during the performance, and it's guaranteed to fill your 90s-loving heart with joy.
As People points out, it appears that Mel C. was hired as part of the evening's entertainment, and she later took to her personal Instagram to send some extra love to her dear hostess with the mostess with a "2 Become 1" lyric.
"Candle light and soul forever," she captioned a photo of herself with Victoria. "A wonderful start to 2017."
Please let this be a sign there'll be an even bigger Spice Girls reunion at some point this year.
