In case you missed the memo, Ed Sheeran is back and better than ever — and his just-released new singles are absolute fire.

Blessing his fans with not one, but two, new songs on Thursday night, the singer-songwriter absolutely did not disappoint in his return from a year-long hiatus. But while both "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" are guaranteed to be stuck in your head after just one listen, upon closer inspection, it turns out that they both happen to be surprisingly intimate, as well. As proof, look no further than the lyric videos Ed uploaded to YouTube for each, which perfectly reveal just how personal the songs get — the former for its sexiness and the latter for its nostalgia.

You can watch them both below!
